## Description

The Japan Woodcraft Association is a not-for-profit organization based in London that aims to provide opportunities for people in the UK and beyond to explore the fascinating world of Japanese woodwork and carpentry. They offer a platform to showcase the traditions and best practices of master craftsmen and women from Japan, covering all disciplines of woodcraft. Through online resources, workshops, and events, they aim to inspire and educate a new generation of woodworkers. Founded and self-financed by Daigo Smith, a woodworker in London with family roots in Japan, the association's mission is to promote understanding and enjoyment of Japanese woodcraft traditions, connect Japanese craftspeople with a global audience, and preserve the culture of woodcraft in Japan. Take a look at their website and join them in discovering the rich history and techniques of Japanese woodcraft.
