JASMIN is a pioneering data analysis facility specializing in large-scale data-intensive environmental science. It offers a unique combination of storage and compute resources designed to support over 1,500 users in their research endeavors, tackling critical issues such as climate change, oceanography, air pollution, and wildlife population analysis. Unlike traditional supercomputers, JASMIN emphasizes flexibility in data analysis workflows with tens of petabytes of storage and a variety of computing options. 

Researchers can choose between managed interactive and batch compute for executing large workflows, or community cloud resources, which provide the autonomy to build and manage their computing needs. JASMIN is anchored by high-performance access to curated archive data from the Centre for Environmental Data Analysis (CEDA), ensuring seamless integration for advanced data analysis activities. Operated by the Science & Technology Facilities Council on behalf of the Natural Environment Research Council, JASMIN is a collaborative, innovative hub, equipped to advance environmental informatics and data analysis capabilities well into the future.
