The Jacksonville Historical Society (JHS), founded in 1929, is the oldest and most comprehensive historical organization in Jacksonville, Florida. Dedicated to strengthening citizenship and preserving the city's rich heritage, JHS engages and educates citizens through a range of programs and initiatives.
