## Description

Thorn of an English Rose is the New York City jewelry studio and brand of designer Jayne Moore, creating handmade pieces that challenge conventional ideas of perfection. Its aesthetic embraces irregular forms, organic textures, unconventional stones, and expressive settings to produce jewelry that feels distinctive, earthy, and sensual. The collection includes rings, earrings, and necklaces, with ready-to-ship designs, one-of-a-kind pieces, and bespoke custom jewelry. Designs feature natural sapphires in vivid colors, rubies, black diamonds, and other gemstones, often arranged in playful clusters, graduated colorways, or intentionally unruly patterns. Some pieces are offered in different sizes and in 18-karat yellow, rose, or white gold; the studio also uses recycled and refined gold in selected designs. Moore describes her process as using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, with no molds and a new blueprint for each piece. The result is jewelry made in NYC with an individual character, including rings, climbers, hoops, and other statement designs. The brand also offers gift cards and a ring sizer.
