## Description

JBA Risk Management is a global provider of flood risk science and management solutions. Part of the independent, employee-owned JBA Group, the company brings together a large team of flood experts to help organisations and communities understand and manage risks from flooding and other natural hazards. Its scientific insights support insurers, lenders, investment companies, property businesses and international development organisations.

JBA offers high-resolution flood maps and data for countries worldwide, alongside probabilistic catastrophe models covering present-day conditions and climate change scenarios. Its services also include simulated global flood event sets, location-specific flood risk assessments, climate risk analytics and portfolio analysis. Clients can access flood data through browser-based tools, APIs and web map services, or seek tailored consultancy for model development, site assessments, flood defence design and portfolio optimisation. Parametric solutions help users profile risk, identify insurance triggers and monitor thresholds.

The company incorporates climate change insights into its models and data to help clients assess evolving risks and make informed decisions.
