CommUnity Crisis Services is a volunteer-driven organization that provides immediate support for individuals facing emotional, food, or financial crisis. Their mission is to ensure that every individual in the community has the support they need in times of need. The services offered by CommUnity Crisis Services include crisis phone, chat, and text support, a mobile crisis response program, a food bank, and a financial support program.

They employ and assist people without regard to race, color, religion, age, disability, or any classification that would deprive the person of consideration as an individual. CommUnity Crisis Services has a rich history of responding to the needs of the community. It was founded in 1969 by two young women who experienced a lack of resources when their roommate attempted suicide.

Since then, the organization has grown to offer a wide range of services, including suicide prevention, support for survivors of suicide loss, and assistance for those experiencing homelessness. They have also played an active role in addressing community-wide problems such as the Farm Crisis and natural disasters. CommUnity Crisis Services relies on the support of the community to continue providing its vital services, with a majority of its budget coming from individuals, organizations, churches, and businesses
