## Description

Judo Club při Městské Policii Ostrava is a sports club based in Ostrava-Poruba, Czech Republic, offering judo training for children, teenagers and adults. Founded in 1993, the club welcomes complete beginners, recreational participants and competitive judoka, with training groups organised by age, experience and ability. Sessions take place throughout the week at the gymnasium of ZŠ Komenského 668 and are led by experienced coaches.

The club’s programme ranges from introductory classes for children aged four to five and groups for school-age children to training for young people aged 12 and over. It also offers circuit training open to all. Newcomers can arrange a free, no-obligation trial session; comfortable sportswear is enough to get started, with no prior experience or special equipment required.

Alongside developing judo skills, the club emphasises discipline, respect, confidence and perseverance, aiming to build strong character as well as capable athletes. Membership involves completing an application and paying a contribution.
