## Description

Galerie Jean Greset is a contemporary art gallery based in Etuz, Haute-Saône, serving audiences across Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, including Besançon. Founded by Jean Greset in 1986, the gallery has developed a significant role in the region’s artistic life. Its programme is defined by geometric abstraction and related movements, including concrete, constructed and geometric art, with exhibitions exploring the evolution and varied expressions of these practices.

The gallery has presented established and contemporary artists such as Aurélie Nemours, Vera Molnar, Cécile Bart, Ode Bertrand, Carmelo Arden Quin and Jean-François Dubreuil, alongside sculptors including Robert Schad, Ernst Günter Herrmann and Armin Göhringer. It also shows artists working beyond this central focus, offering a broader perspective on contemporary art. Its programme includes individual and group exhibitions, with works across painting and sculpture, as well as photography and editions listed among its artistic formats. Through its sustained exhibition activity and considered selection of artists, Galerie Jean Greset brings rigorous, diverse approaches to contemporary art to audiences in eastern France.
