About
Description
The Jeffris Family Foundation, established in 1979 by Bruce and Eleanor Jeffris and their son Tom, is dedicated to preserving the cultural history and heritage of the Midwest. With a focus on the rich architectural heritage of small towns and cities in Wisconsin, the Foundation has expanded its reach in 2009 to include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Ohio. Driven by their mission and values, the Foundation supports the preservation of regionally and nationally significant historic buildings and decorative arts projects.
They aim to develop significant historic sites in eight Midwestern states, ensuring sustainability and quality restoration through meticulous research and planning. By inspiring and motivating community leaders and families to support historic preservation in their towns, the Foundation seeks to create a unique sense of place. Supported by a dedicated Board of Directors, including President Thomas M.
Jeffris, Director Royce Yeater, and Director Nancy Finegood, the Jeffris Family Foundation provides funding opportunities to non-profit organizations for the development of historic sites in small towns and cities. For more information, you can contact the Foundation at their office in Janesville, Wisconsin
