## Description

The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation, based in Foley, AL, is a compassionate and impactful brand dedicated to supporting the social and emotional well-being of youth across Baldwin County communities. Founded in 1998 in honor of Jennifer Claire Moore, a high school student who tragically lost her life to suicide, the Foundation aims to provide assistance, understanding, and positive reinforcement to young people in need. The Foundation's mission is achieved through various programs, services, and resources, including their Peer Helpers program. This program trains teens to identify signs of depression and suicide in their peers and provides them with the tools to offer support and guidance. The Foundation has expanded its reach to almost every K-12 school in Baldwin County, offering Youth Mental Health First Aid training to empower adults to better support youth. With the dedication of Peer Program Coordinators and the ingenuity of Peer Helper students, the Foundation has positively impacted the lives of thousands of Baldwin County youth. Their goal is to continue providing hope and assistance to those in need, expanding their programs and services to make a lasting difference in the community.
