## Description

Jericho Settlers Farm is a brand that focuses on sustainable farming practices and providing organic vegetables, premium local meats, and farm fresh eggs. With a 200-acre farm, they grow 30 acres of certified organic vegetables, flowers, and herbs for their Year Round CSA programs, farmstands, and wholesale customers. They also specialize in year-round vegetable production, including salad greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and root vegetables. The philosophy of Jericho Settlers Farm is rooted in the belief that a thriving local food system is crucial for a sustainable community, encompassing both humans and the surrounding environment. Through their work, they aim to provide nourishing food for families while finding joy, wonder, and a sense of accomplishment each day. The farm, founded in 2002, is a family affair led by Mark, Christa, Asa, and Hazel. Christa grew up on the farm, and Mark brought his experience from a small diversified dairy farm in Washington State. Together, they continue the tradition of raising healthy food on a diversified family farm. Beyond growing food, Jericho Settlers Farm is dedicated to fostering community. They actively participate in Farm to School programs, community workshops, and fundraising initiatives. They also donate to the Vermont Food Bank and local food shelves, ensuring that everyone has access to fresh, nutritious food.
