## Description

Jesse Chinedu is a Nigerian author whose novels explore the institutions, families and power structures that consume the people within them. Working across gaslamp fantasy, mafia romance, gothic horror, epic fantasy and contemporary romance, Chinedu creates stories that pair imaginative settings with intense personal and political conflicts. Readers can find many titles free on Wattpad, while Judas, the first book in The Long Selection, is available on Amazon in Kindle, paperback and hardcover editions.

Featured works include Green Groom, a gothic horror romance about a man who buys land beside a forest; House of Wounds, a mafia romance and suspense thriller centered on marriage, bloodshed and a missing daughter; and Judas, a gaslamp political fantasy about a duke’s useful, disposable son. To the King, a Kush-inspired political epic, is coming soon. Other Wattpad titles include dark fantasy romances, contemporary romance and second-chance stories. Chinedu also offers a newsletter, a Judas discussion guide and classroom and book-club prompts. Recognition includes a 2025 AMBYS win and a 2026 Wattys shortlist.
