## Description

BioProfile is a Dutch health and wellness platform founded by author and speaker Jesse van der Velde. Its mission is to help people support their healthspan—the years they live in good health—by translating research on health, ageing, nutrition, recovery, metabolism and lifestyle into practical, personalised insights. The service begins with a free, scientifically validated health questionnaire that takes about three minutes. Users can choose from assessments covering areas such as sleep, energy, stress, hormones, digestion, heart health, recovery and metabolism. Based on their responses, BioProfile provides an analysis and a personal plan to help identify areas to focus on; the analysis is not a medical diagnosis. Customers may also add laboratory testing and access a network of nutrition experts, therapists and doctors for further guidance. BioProfile previously conducted more than 15,000 health scans between 2014 and 2016 and is now rebuilding its services with validated questionnaires, lab research and expert support. Its approach is to help people understand their current health and make informed choices for the long term.
