## Description

Fighting Goliath for Mental Illness Ministries is a faith-based mental health advocacy organization founded by Jesslyn McCutcheon, a motivational speaker, singer, and mental health advocate. Its mission is to offer help, hope, and healing to individuals and families affected by mental illness, reduce stigma, and encourage people to see the person beyond a diagnosis. The organization serves communities primarily across the East Coast, with services listed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida; travel may be negotiated.

Fighting Goliath provides mental health resources, a support group, personal stories, educational blog articles, and Hope Talk webinars addressing topics such as PTSD, bipolar disorder, caregiving, and emotional wellness. Its website also promotes speaking engagements and Warrior Wellness Coaching, alongside opportunities to connect with the community and share lived experiences. The organization offers a store and fundraising events, including the Stone-by-Stone auction. Its upcoming devotional, Hope Unbroken, is described as a 40-day resource combining Scripture, personal stories, reflection, and encouragement for people facing mental illness and emotional hardship. The ministry is a member of NAMI NW Piedmont and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
