# Jeugdweek - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `jeugdweek.com` ## Description Jeugdweek Aalst-Waalre is a community-run summer event for children and young people from Aalst and Waalre. Held each year during the final week of the summer holiday, it brings participants together for a lively programme of games, activities, adventure and entertainment. The event welcomes children and young people aged 5 to 15, with programme options for younger children aged 5–8, older children aged 9–12 and a middle age group. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 17–21 August. The week is made possible by a close-knit team of around 75 to 100 volunteers, who help organise the event, supervise children and support activities.
