## Description

Jewells in Bloom is an urban flower farm in Northwest Philadelphia, run by Courtney Jewell. It grows fresh, locally grown cut flowers across three locations: a half-acre plot in Germantown, 17 plots at the St. Thomas Church Community Garden in Flourtown, and a garden in East Mt. Airy, where Courtney has lived for more than a decade. Drawing on a background in design and a passion for organic, whimsical floral arranging, the farm brings seasonal blooms to local customers and helps people learn about local flowers.

Its offerings include weekly flower CSA subscriptions available by season or for the full growing season, with flowers from spring through fall. Customers can also pick up bouquets at the farm’s Porchstand. Jewells in Bloom hosts floral-arranging workshops in spring and fall, Christmas wreath workshops in winter, and other events throughout the year. For those looking to grow at home, garden consultations help Philadelphia residents choose suitable plants and identify locations for raised beds, whether they have a yard or a small courtyard.
