Description
Jean-Gabriel Young is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Vermont. He is also a faculty member of the Translational Global Infectious Diseases Research Center and the Vermont Complex Systems Center. With a focus on statistical inference, epidemiology, and complex systems, Jean-Gabriel's research explores the intersection of these fields.
Prior to his current role, he was a James S. McDonnell Foundation Fellow at the Center for the Study of Complex Systems at the University of Michigan, under the mentorship of Prof. Mark Newman.
Jean-Gabriel obtained his PhD in Physics from Université Laval, working with Prof. Louis J. Dubé and Prof.
