Chevrah Kadisha is the oldest and largest Jewish welfare organization in Johannesburg and the entire African continent. With a history dating back to 1888, it has been dedicated to the welfare and burial needs of the community for over a century. As a paternal and unifying influence, Chevrah Kadisha has played a leadership role in developing the community.
