Jim is an experienced professional in the field of quantitative investments and business management. As the Director of Growth for Smart Portfolio Strategies, he plays a key role in sales, marketing, and customer experience, while also contributing to product development. Reporting to Director of Research, Jason MacQueen, Jim brings over twenty-five years of expertise in various areas such as sales, account management, client support, and product management.

Previously, he spent more than 10 years at Advisor Partners LLC, where he managed portfolios and developed systems and products. Prior to that, Jim served as the RIA for a robo-advisor. Additionally, he was the Fund-Wrap Product Manager at Bank of America and held a leadership position at SEI Investments.

Jim holds bachelor and master's degrees in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a CFA charter holder since 2001. He is also a member of QWAFAFEW. With his extensive background and knowledge, Jim is dedicated to delivering measurable results through predictable and reliable approaches
