## Description

Jimboomba Little Athletics is a community athletics club based on Henderson Road in Jimboomba, on the semi-rural outskirts of Brisbane. With more than 350 athletes aged 3 to 20, it is one of Queensland’s largest Little Athletics clubs. The club welcomes children of varied abilities and experience, from those taking their first steps around the oval to national champions, and promotes family, fun and fitness alongside skill development and team spirit.

The season runs on Friday nights from September to March. Tiny Tots sessions for children aged 3 and 4 begin at 5pm, while activities for U6 athletes and older begin at 5.45pm; evenings usually finish around 8.30pm. Sessions include running, jumping and throwing, with a focus on building and improving skills. Additional coaching is available during the week, and families can follow results and personal bests through ResultsHQ. Athletes also take part in inter-club carnivals and team relay days.
