## Description

JitPack is a package repository that helps developers publish and use Java, JVM, and Android libraries directly from Git projects hosted on GitHub or Bitbucket. To add a library, developers configure JitPack as a repository in their build system and specify the project and version as a dependency. JitPack then checks out the requested code, builds it, and serves the resulting artifacts, including JAR and AAR files. Projects can be referenced by release, commit, branch, or snapshot, making it possible to build a specific commit or use the latest code. The service supports common tools including Gradle, Maven, sbt, and Leiningen.
