Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting survivors of human rights violations and advocating for fundamental freedoms worldwide. Our programs provide mental health services, medical treatment, and other support services for survivors of psychological trauma, terrorism, domestic violence, and human rights abuses. With nine treatment centers, a women's clinic, a healing garden, and mobile teams operating in eleven refugee and internally displaced persons camps and nine regions across Kurdistan Iraq and Syria, we have supported over 100,000 individuals since 2005.

At Jiyan Foundation, we uphold the values outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, believing in human dignity, promoting respect for human rights, and ensuring the protection of individuals regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or religion. Our founder, Salah Ahmed, is a dedicated therapist with extensive experience in trauma counseling, particularly among refugees. With a focus on psychological aid, he strives to improve the lives of violence survivors in Iraq.
