JJ's Sweets Cocomels is a brand that focuses on delivering unexpectedly delicious moments of joy through their vegan candies. Since 2009, their mission has been to create delightful experiences and enable people to share them with others. It all started when Chief Candyman JJ had a dream and discovered his calling to bring joy through candy.

Using family and friends as trusted taste testers, he perfected his coconut milk caramels recipe in his kitchen. In 2010, Cocomels made its debut at a local Farmers Market in Boulder. The brand quickly gained popularity, and in 2012, they introduced the heavenly combination of coconut milk caramels and 60% decadent dark chocolate.

This led to their first Sofi award for their Sea Salt Caramels in 2014. Over the years, Cocomels has grown into a national brand, capturing approximately 50% market share of caramels in the natural channel by 2018. In 2019, Cocomels was acquired by Madhava, enabling them to spread even more joy to a wider audience.
