## Description

Ju-Jutsu-Verband Rheinland-Pfalz e. V. is the regional governing body for Ju-Jutsu and Jiu-Jitsu in the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz. It is a member of the Landessportbund Rheinland-Pfalz and the regional sports associations of Pfalz, Rheinhessen, and Rheinland. The federation supports a broad martial arts community, with activities spanning Ju-Jutsu, Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Hanbō-Jutsu, and related styles such as Kyūsho-Jitsu. Its work includes coordinating member clubs and departments, organizing competitions, seminars, and technical training, and supporting instructor education, examinations, youth and women’s activities, and police-related programs. The federation also provides resources for competition, grading, teaching, and equipment administration, alongside governance and safeguarding structures. Events combine practical self-defense, self-assertion, movement training, and opportunities to exchange knowledge across styles. The organization promotes inclusive participation, including adapted self-defense initiatives for blind and visually impaired people. Through its events, training programs, and club network, the JJVRP helps develop martial arts practice and community across Rheinland-Pfalz.
