About
Description
The Junior League of the Quad Cities has been an integral part of the community since 1921. Originally known as the Junior Board of the Visiting Nurses Associations, we evolved into the Junior Board of Davenport before affiliating with the Association of Junior Leagues International in 1981. Our mission is to advance women's leadership for a meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
As members of the Junior League, we work together to identify unmet needs in the Quad Cities and create positive change. We strive to make our community a healthier and more vital place to live. From childhood immunization and family literacy to women's shelters and historic preservation, we tackle the biggest challenges facing our community.
Being part of an international organization, the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., with over 155,000 women in 292 Leagues in four countries, allows us to make a difference in our communities every day. For over 80 years, the Association has provided support, guidance, and leadership development opportunities to member Leagues. Join us in building a better community through volunteer efforts and meaningful initiatives
