## Description

Amics Joan Petit Nens amb Càncer Fundació is a nonprofit foundation based in Blanes, established in 2004 after beginning its work in 2001. It focuses on supporting people affected directly or indirectly by childhood cancer and raising public awareness of the disease. The foundation brings communities together through fundraising and educational activities, including its annual Festa-Torneig Joan Petit, a children’s hockey event that combines games and celebration with a tribute to children facing or affected by cancer. Other initiatives include solidarity walks, community events, the Festa dels Contes de Sant Joan, and activities designed to share information and encourage understanding. The foundation also promotes research projects and helps fund work related to childhood cancer. People can support its mission by making donations, becoming members, attending events, or taking part in fundraising activities. Through these programs, Amics Joan Petit seeks to build awareness, encourage solidarity, and contribute to support for children and families affected by childhood cancer.
