## Description

Jo is a pioneering brand that is revolutionizing the future of transportation with its cutting-edge technologies. With a team of over 1000 passionate engineers, experts, and leaders, Jo is committed to bringing their pioneering vision to life. They are currently developing a world-class manufacturing facility in Marina, CA, and have offices and workshops in various locations including Santa Cruz, San Carlos, Washington, D.C., and Munich, Germany. The brand's journey began in 2009, with a small team of seven engineers working tirelessly in The Barn, their workshop in the mountains above Santa Cruz. Over the years, Jo has achieved several significant milestones, including collaborations with NASA on electric flight projects and the development of full-scale and subscale demonstrators. Jo's achievements also include partnerships with Toyota and Uber, which have further enhanced their expertise in manufacturing and aerial ridesharing services. Moreover, Joby became the first eVTOL company to receive airworthiness approval from the U.S Air Force and obtained their Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, enabling them to operate a commercial air taxi service. Looking ahead, Jo aims to focus on certifying their aircraft, scaling their manufacturing capabilities, and preparing for operations. With their commitment to innovation and pioneering spirit, Jo is poised to reshape the way we travel in the future.
