## Description

Johnita M. Smith is an American author of dark fantasy romance, creating stories where forbidden love, ancestral power, family secrets, and supernatural conflict collide. Inspired by mythology, faith, and emotional storytelling, her books invite readers into cinematic worlds shaped by magic, passion, and high-stakes choices. Her stories center on Old Laketown and the Bridges family, where ancient forces, dangerous destinies, and powerful relationships threaten to reshape the community.

Smith’s featured titles include The Devil’s Baby and its sequel, Dark Power and Love, as well as A Trail Ride Kind of Love. Dark Power and Love follows characters caught between desire and duty: Ebony, who must confront her inherited darkness; Patricia, a witcher tasked with defeating the man she is drawn to; and Cassandra, who faces loss while protecting her family and community. The series blends dark fantasy with romance, including forbidden passion, enemies-to-lovers tension, betrayal, and supernatural intrigue. Readers can explore the books and purchase them through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
