John demonstrated woodturning and taught hands-on classes across the United States and in more than ten other countries.

The business also offers woodturning tools, including hollowing tools, handles, adapters, cutters, gouges, a sharpening jig, and a double-ended shear scraper. The hollowing tools are made in Tennessee and are described as suitable for both novice and experienced turners.
