DNS4EU is a pioneering initiative launched by the European Commission, designed to establish a secure and privacy-compliant DNS resolver as an alternative to the currently dominant public DNS services. Launched in January 2023 with EU backing, DNS4EU represents a significant step towards a resilient and autonomous digital infrastructure for European citizens and organizations alike.
