## Description

Jokers Comedy Club was a live comedy venue and weekly comedy night in Hobart, Tasmania. Its shows took place every Wednesday at The Polish Corner in New Town, featuring comedians from around Australia and overseas. The club presented regular opportunities for audiences to enjoy stand-up performances and brought together performers and comedy fans for what it described as seven years of memorable, hilarious events. Jokers Comedy Club is now closed, and no further shows are advertised.

The club’s website preserves photos from its 2015–2020 seasons, along with videos, offering a record of its events and history. For information about comedian Gavin Baskerville’s gigs and workshops, former visitors are directed to his website. Details about other events run by Ta-Daa! Professional Entertainment are available through that organisation, while enquiries about hiring The Polish Corner for functions or parties can be directed to the venue. Jokers Comedy Club’s legacy is that of a local, recurring comedy night that hosted both Australian and international talent for Hobart audiences.
