## Description

JorisKaper.nl is the personal website of Joris Kaper, presenting his articles, books, speaking engagements and projects. Its content focuses particularly on football history and the connections between sport, society and historical events. A central subject is PSV Eindhoven during the Second World War, explored through articles, lectures and the book PSV tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. The site also features material on Karel Doorman, tracing his story from the football field to wartime service, and on John Brodie, known as the inventor of the goal net despite not being a footballer himself. Beyond historical research, Kaper covers contemporary sporting culture, including football and video games, and shares an interview connected to Dakar 2026. Visitors can find updates about book presentations, including an event at the Philips Stadion, and the presentation of a book to PSV director Marcel Brands. The website offers a way to follow Kaper’s work, discover his publications and learn about opportunities to engage with his talks and projects.
