## Description

JORROW Music is the professional brand of Dutch composer Joris Saaltink, who creates music for film, advertising, and other media. Trained as an all-round music producer at the Conservatory of Haarlem, Saaltink developed his craft with guidance from composers Martijn Schimmer and Fons Merkies. His work includes scores for short films, music for prominent advertising campaigns, and additional music for the Dutch feature film De Grote Slijmfilm, created alongside Fons Merkies and Laurens Goedhart. JORROW’s services include original composition and music production tailored to visual storytelling, with work spanning different genres and formats. His sound draws on a background as a drummer, percussionist, DJ, and producer, combining carefully shaped electronic soundscapes with an interest in writing for orchestral instruments. Saaltink’s approach places the film first, using music to complement and support its story. The website features selected projects, music samples, news, and a biography, and provides a way to get in touch about potential collaborations. Through JORROW Music, Saaltink brings contemporary, versatile compositions to screen-based media.
