## Description

The Journal of Belgian History (JBH) is the premier scholarly journal dedicated to the exploration of Belgium's contemporary history. Established in 2007, it emerged from the merger of two distinguished publications: BTNG/RBHC and Bijdragen tot de Eigentijdse Geschiedenis/Cahiers d'Histoire du Temps présent. This academic journal is indexed in the ISI Arts and Humanities Citation Index, attesting to its significance in the field of historical research.

JBH publishes original articles in English, French, and Dutch, making it accessible to a diverse audience. The journal serves as a platform for historians and scholars to disseminate research, engage in academic debate, and contribute to the understanding of Belgian history. Published by the Centre for Historical Research and Documentation on War and Contemporary Society (CEGESOMA), the JBH supports open access to foster scholarly communication and enhance the visibility of its contributors' work. Through rigorous editorial standards and an advisory board of experts, JBH upholds its commitment to high-quality scholarship in the humanities.
