YoungStars is a program designed for young women pursuing a career in the communications industry. Started in 2013 at the Journalistinnenkongress, YoungStars aims to provide a platform for networking, learning, and advancement in the field. The program offers unique opportunities for participants to meet and exchange ideas with top female media professionals, conduct interviews, and overcome any fears or barriers they may have. YoungStars offers insights into three different areas: press work, social media, and moderation. Workshops and excursions to media houses, editorial offices, and corporate communication departments are organized to allow participants to learn from the best in the industry. Led by Ulrike Schöflinger, the program also collaborates with interesting media partners such as the Mediengipfel in Lech and the Expo-Austria team to provide additional enriching experiences. YoungStars participants have the chance to attend the Journalistinnenkongress and build a strong network among their peers. The YoungStars program has been praised for its comprehensive and diverse approach to journalism and media careers.
