## Description

Journées Européennes de l'Archéologie (JEA) is a significant cultural event organized across Europe, taking place on June 12, 13, and 14, 2026. Under the auspices of the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, the JEA aims to engage the public in the exploration of archaeology through an extensive program featuring over 5,000 events in more than 30 countries. These events provide a unique opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds to connect with their historical heritage and learn more about archaeological practices.

The JEA serves as a comprehensive platform offering a range of resources about archaeology, ensuring accessibility to knowledge for everyone. Organizers can find detailed information about planning and executing events, while journalists can access press materials to cover this large-scale celebration of cultural history. With a strong commitment to education and public engagement, the JEA stands as a testament to the importance of archaeology in understanding our past and fostering a sense of collective identity across Europe.
