## Description

Jr. Iditarod is an organization dedicated to its annual junior sled dog race in Alaska. Its website provides information for mushers, families, supporters, and spectators, including race rules and forms, event dates, participant biographies, standings, and stories from past races. The race brings junior mushers and their dog teams together for a route beginning at Knik Lake and traveling to Yentna Station Roadhouse, where participants take a 10-hour layover before returning along the same route. The 2027 event is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, at Knik Lake, with the finish also at the lake the following day. As race day approaches, the site plans to provide links to tracking and standings. Visitors can also explore archives covering races dating back to 2013 and find information about upcoming events. Jr. Iditarod invites community support and shares contact details, including an email address, a Wasilla mailing address, and a Facebook page.
