## Description

JRRT is a reputable brand that prioritizes effective governance and the delivery of non-charitable purposes. As a limited company, their governing body comprises a Board of ten directors who come from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the brand's Quaker, Liberal roots, and progressive values. Each director serves a maximum of 15 years. Apart from legal and financial responsibilities, the Board's key functions include grant-making, strategic planning, scrutiny, and evaluating impact. Board meetings are held quarterly in York, with an informal evening session featuring guest speakers preceding them. The Finance Committee, chaired by Lisa Smart, offers close oversight of investments and reports to the full Board. The brand's dedicated staff of six, based in York or home-based, efficiently support the Trust and its directors. With their commitment to effective governance and purposeful work, JRRT has established itself as a trusted brand in the industry.
