## Description

The Japan Terminal Care Association (JTCA) is a pioneering organization dedicated to advancing end-of-life care in Japan by promoting collaboration among diverse professionals across various industries and regions. The association strives to empower caregivers with comprehensive support, fostering a more flexible and innovative end-of-life care system unattached to traditional medical insurance and reimbursement frameworks.

JTCA offers a structured certification program that allows individuals to acquire qualifications such as Terminal Care Specialist and Advanced Terminal Care Specialist. These programs are designed to continuously develop skills and knowledge through an accessible learning platform named "CocoLink," allowing members to study and connect with peers easily.

By embracing a holistic approach that intertwines healthcare, social welfare, and community support, JTCA aims to create a network where caregivers can freely learn, share experiences, and contribute to transforming societal views on terminal care. Together, they envision a future where end-of-life care is liberated, compassionate, and centered around the needs of individuals in their final stages of life.
