## Description

Ju-Jitsu Kreuzlingen is a martial arts club based in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland, dedicated to the practice of Ju-Jitsu, a Japanese art of unarmed self-defence originating with the samurai. The club introduces the principles and techniques of this discipline, which aims to provide a broad range of ways to respond to physical threats while also fostering character and self-confidence as foundations for resolving conflicts peacefully.

Ju-Jitsu is often described as “the yielding art.” Rather than meeting force with force, practitioners learn to use an attacker’s momentum and strength to gain control. Techniques may include strikes, kicks, pushes, throws, joint locks and chokes, with the goal of restraining or incapacitating an attacker as efficiently as possible, whether or not the person is armed. Ju-Jitsu Kreuzlingen provides training at its dojo in Schulhaus Remisberg, on Rothausstrasse in Kreuzlingen. The club’s website also offers information about training times, its history, leadership, affiliated organisations and gallery. Interested visitors can contact the club by telephone or email for further information.
