## Description

Jua.ai AG is a Zürich-based research and technology company developing AI weather forecasting tools for energy markets. Its EPT-2 family provides global, hourly weather models, including deterministic, ensemble, rapid-refresh and high-resolution forecasts. Models are refreshed up to 24 times daily, with ensemble forecasts extending to 60 days and wind and solar power forecasts expressed in megawatts. Jua says EPT-2 outperforms major forecasting systems, including ECMWF, Google DeepMind and Microsoft, based on evaluations against more than 10,000 ground stations. Its research has been peer-reviewed at ICLR and NeurIPS.

The company also offers Athena, an AI agent for energy trading. Athena combines EPT-2 forecasts with market models, prices and users’ positions to provide briefings, alerts, backtests and power forecasts in a single workspace. Jua serves energy traders, utilities, renewable energy operators and hedge funds through products such as asset-level forecasts, actuals nowcasts, European 5 km models, an API and a Python SDK. Its tools are used in production by organizations across the energy sector.
