## Description

Judo Club Guebwiller is a long-established sports association in the Haut-Rhin area of Alsace, founded in 1956 and affiliated with the French Judo Federation (FFJDA). With more than 240 members, the club welcomes children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to experienced competitors, and promotes physical development, respect, courage and personal growth through sport. Its qualified coaches hold state-recognised credentials and regularly update their training.

The club offers judo, including introductory classes for children from age four, with options for both leisure practice and competition. Members can also take part in Taïso, a fitness activity focused on strength, flexibility and relaxation, without falls or strikes, and Ju-Jitsu, which teaches self-defence techniques such as evasion, joint locks and throws. Instruction is adapted to different ages and ability levels, with an emphasis on safe practice and learning together.

Judo Club Guebwiller operates two dojo locations: the Centre Sportif du Florival in Guebwiller and the Complexe Sportif MAB in Soultz. Prospective members can discover the club through trial classes and seasonal registration.
