## Description

Judo Club Pompignac is a non-profit association founded in 1974 in Pompignac, France. With around 110 members, the club offers four disciplines: judo, ju-jitsu, taïso and muscle strengthening. Its activities welcome participants from age three, from beginners to experienced practitioners, with classes tailored to different ages and goals.

For young children, Motri-Judo uses games to develop basic movement skills and encourage social interaction, while early judo introduces techniques and first bouts. Older children learn judo skills, work toward belt grades and may begin competing from age six. Teens and adults can enjoy recreational judo and ju-jitsu, combining throws and ground control with foot-and-fist techniques; competition is optional. Adult taïso provides gentle, regular exercise focused on health, while muscle-strengthening sessions support fitness and physical preparation.

The club offers two trial sessions for newcomers and accepts registrations throughout the year, including online. Families may also arrange collection and return for children attending Pompignac’s Wednesday leisure centre. Members can meet instructors at the dojo or contact the club by email or Facebook.
