## Description

JudoSchool Assen is a welcoming judo club in Assen, the Netherlands, bringing together around 170 members aged approximately four to 74. The club emphasizes enjoyment, challenge and growing together, offering a friendly place for beginners, recreational judoka and more competitive athletes. Its classes take place at the sports hall on Boomgaard 3 in Assen-Kloosterveen, and newcomers are invited to try a lesson.

The program includes KleuterJudo, a safe, playful introduction to the sport for children around four to six; regular judo training; dedicated kata sessions focused on prescribed movements and techniques; and competition training for judoka aiming to improve and perform at tournaments. Adults can join the senior group, whose members range from yellow belt to second Dan and train in a relaxed atmosphere. Lessons are led by qualified instructors, including head trainer Peter Baas, a sixth Dan judoka and Judoleraar B, and Johan Baas, a third Dan judoka and Judoleraar B. The club also provides training schedules, membership information, news and member resources.
