## Description

Judo Yushi is a judo school serving Haarlemmermeer and surrounding areas, with locations in Nieuw-Vennep, Hoofddorp, Badhoevedorp and Osdorp. The club welcomes participants who practise judo recreationally as well as those aiming to compete, reflecting its name, which means “hero” or “fighter.” Its programmes cover a wide range of ages and experience levels: parent-and-child and playful movement classes for children from around 2.5 years, preschool judo from age four, youth judo from age six, adult classes from about 17, and balance and fall-prevention sessions for people aged 55 and over. The club also offers youth fitness for judoka from around 13 and provides pathways into competition and talent development. New participants can explore the sport through a trial month. Beyond regular lessons, Judo Yushi organises grading examinations, training weekends, points competitions, tournaments, social activities and international events, including the NL JUDO OPEN and a related training stage. As an official Topsport Talentpartner of Judo Bond Nederland, the school supports ambitious judoka in developing toward elite competition.
