## Description

The École Française de JuJitsu & Self-Défense is a martial arts school founded in 2010, offering jujitsu and self-defence training at the Cercle Tissier in Vincennes, Paris. Its classes welcome beginners and experienced practitioners aged 15 and over, with mixed-level sessions held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. State-qualified instructors teach a progressive method designed to suit different abilities and goals, while prioritising safety, respect and individual progress. Training covers multiple aspects of combat, including throws, ground techniques, striking, controls, and defence against weapons and multiple attackers. The school describes its approach as practical, engaging and rooted in the broader jujitsu tradition. Students can attend a complimentary trial session, with a kimono available to borrow. Alongside regular classes, the school organises and participates in workshops, interclub events and multidisciplinary training in France and abroad. It also arranges an itinerant training trip to Japan every two years. The school’s programme supports students’ development through belt levels and includes preparation for future assistant instructors and teachers.
