## Description

Juliane Golbs is a contemporary artist and painter based in Hamburg, Germany. A trained philosopher, she brings together intellectual reflection and intuition, translating emotion into abstract paintings that explore the vitality of life, colour and form. Created in her Hamburg studio, her works are built in layers using highly pigmented acrylics, 24-karat gold leaf and gold creams. Her collections include Fifth Season, Heaven Can’t Wait, the Signature Collection and Golden Things.

Golbs offers original artworks for private spaces, with an online catalogue and opportunities to view selected pieces at her studio by appointment or at the Hotel Louis C. Jacob. Her art advisory service helps clients consider colour, format, mood and budget, including size comparisons and the option to trial a work at home. She also creates commissioned pieces tailored to a particular space through personal discussion of its light and atmosphere.

The artist collaborates with cultural and commercial partners, and her projects include appearances at Venice Design Week and IFA Berlin.
