## Description

Julia Obscura is the creative practice of Julia van de Winckel, a philosopher, workshop facilitator and self-taught photographer based in Utrecht. Combining philosophical inquiry with imagination and visual storytelling, she encourages people of all ages to question assumptions, explore different perspectives and stay curious about the world.

Julia creates tailored philosophy workshops for children, young people and adults, working with schools, childcare centres, libraries, care organisations and private groups. Sessions use activities such as games, stories, yoga, photography, art and unusual objects to open conversations about identity, ethics, technology, love, meaning, mortality and other themes. Workshops can be adapted to a group’s needs and are available for groups of six or more. Julia also offers De Vragenplaneet, online sessions for children that invite them to look at the world with fresh eyes and think through big questions. For women, De Wolfsvrouw is an introspective, sensual workshop exploring womanhood and inner strength. Alongside her workshops, Julia offers photography and photographic works, inviting viewers to see familiar realities in new ways.
