## Description

Julio Green Fine Art presents the work and creative practice of Honduras-born artist Julio Green, whose art reflects his responses to music, movies, his surroundings, and the forces that shape his subjects. Drawing from childhood, Green began painting at 18 as a way to express ideas and emotions beyond words. After teaching himself for years, he studied new techniques in the United States and developed an individual approach combining that knowledge with his experience.

Green creates mixed-media works and abstracts using forms, textures, colors, and objects. He also incorporates discarded materials, giving them new life while drawing attention to waste and litter. Collage and leather craft are among his other current media. His inspirations include everyday situations, books, walks on the beach, and conversations with friends; he describes making art as a constructive way to express stress, joy, and personal discovery.

The website features his works, biography, artist statement, blog, newsletter, and email sign-up for new art alerts.
