## Description

The July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, Bangladesh, is dedicated to preserving the history and memories of the 2024 mass uprising. Its exhibitions and historical materials document a movement that began with student demands for quota reform and grew into a nationwide call for democracy. The museum presents the uprising’s 36 days of events and honors the people who lost their lives or were injured. Its July 2024 Archive and historical narrative help visitors explore the journey from oppression toward liberation and understand the movement’s significance in Bangladesh’s national history.

The museum offers visitor information, including regular opening hours and special schedules, and provides directions and ticket purchasing through its website. Visitors can plan their trip in advance, though the museum is closed on Thursdays and government holidays; daily status information may also indicate a weekly holiday. The institution describes its mission as contributing to the preservation of national history and documenting the uprising for the public.
